Talking about the conception of the track Nicole said “I started writing this song in the first apartment I ever lived at, this super dark and cave-like garden level apartment in San Francisco,” Nicole says of “Heaven on Earth.” “It always looked like the sun had just set, and however hot it was outside, the place was consistently 55ºF. The ceilings were something like 12 feet high and my room was basically an echo chamber. There’s some escapism in the lyrics stemming from spending that cold summer there.”
