Stay is about the end of a relationship where you know it’s time to let go but nostalgia gets the better of you. It’s about romanticising the past and hopeless romance. It’s about being willing to do whatever to make the other person happy including pretending to like the cheap red wine they drink to the point you actually do and being willing to talk about anything they want and do whatever they like just to keep them close

The track includes electric guitars, bass, drums, and vocals creating a dreamy soundscape for the story to be told, the picked guitars add movement whilst the bass keeps the track flowing throughout
