Heart Sauce - Losing Touch

About...
Hearts Sauce are a Leicester based indie rock band, “Heart Sauce has been around since 2019, although we’ve all known each other a lot longer and some of us have played together over the years. The current line-up has been together since 2022.”- Euan Fisher (Drummer). ‘Losing Touch’, has a saucy sound walking with you down a musical pavement that feels familiar with its Y2K indie rock sound. Like Arctic Monkeys but made softer by the lead vocals
Lyrics...
Their lyrics heavily focus on being unable to communicate in a relationship. Their approach to this is soft and courteous, without coming off cheesy or typical. Using relatable lyrism in a time where much music isn’t aimed at connecting with people on an emotional level
Production...
The quality of “Losing Touch”, the production, vocals and percussion all culminate into a summery atmosphere. “Losing Touch” has a similarity to songs such as “500” and “Single Girl” giving that unshakeable Y2K summer “vibe”. The Bass and guitars compliment the vocals whilst the drums and bongos complete the production fantastically
Summary...
The Band self describes the name Heart Sauce has taken new meanings as they have grown as a band “From messy hearty disasters to an innocent name for blood, we also like the way the words look on paper together.” Their live performances are full of fun, showing off the band’s chemistry and quality of their set list. Overall, the band are definitely on the rise and I can only predict they will go far
