The track alludes to the fact you can try as hard as you want but you will have to play the cards you’ve been dealt, sometimes falling short. The title and lyrics link to people in power and how they can feel like they’re Gods when they’re just like everyone else, calling them ‘boys’ to humanize them
Production...
The track, written and produced by frontman Saul, has hints of Catfish and the Bottlemen as well as early Arctic Monkeys tracks in their younger years, the recording feel live as if the band are performing in the studio and the mix gives depth and space to the track along with the arrangement.
Summary...
With backing from Chess Club Records and a growing fan base the sky is the limit for the band, this release seems to be shaping up for an EP from the band so we should expect more music soon
