The lyrics are self-reflective of him being in his comfort zone and being in an unhealthy state, this then builds into the Chorus where he shouts ‘I finally feel myself again’ finding resolution in all the mess. The pre-chorus see’s Manta reflects on what is real and fake and wanting to find authenticity in himself
Production...
The production reflects a modern take on a punk track with its distorted guitars, upbeat tempo, and mellow vocals. The structure shrinks in the verses to explode in the Chorus when Manta reaches his revolution
Summary...
This is a great opening to the EP from Manta showcasing his comfort in his image and sound. With constant teasing of new music on Tik Tok it seems inevitable that there will be a new project from Manta soon and a co-sign from Dominic Fike the sky seems to be the limit for Manta
